Welcome
to WebWheel.
This section of the Youthreach Website is
for materials relating specifically to the provision of supports for
learners attending Youthreach, Senior Traveller and Community
Training Centres. The kinds of support we have in mind are mentoring,
advocacy, guidance, information, counselling, psychological services
and provision for special educational needs.
The main
function of this site is to be a useful resource to management and
teaching staff working in centres and to practitioners and agencies
that provide services to this client group. Previously circulated
documents, notices and links are directly available.
Materials
that are in development rather than finalised and those relating to
support provision linked to training programmes or otherwise provided
by staff or specialist practitioners in the support areas listed
above are restricted and require password access. Level B is
for all centres, VECs and FÁS, Level C is for the twenty
Youthreach centres currently engaging in a SEN Initiative pilot and
Level D is for professionally qualified practitioners such as
guidance counsellors, psychotherapists and psychologists.
